Account director in a major high street retailer in the UK. Work alot with government. my role is a senior position and I work with executives/board level and with people from all levels in the organisation. My job is to look after our senior clients and make sure we have a good commercial relationship with them.
In my mid 40s - I live in the east Midlands with my wife and two young daughters (both under 5). I have two teenage sons from a previous marriage who live near London.
In terms of hobbies - its mostly being a dad! But I do like reggae and, when I have spare time I do fundraising for forest conservation in Jamaica - an island I love. I like cooking (for a hobby not a chore!). I don't like sport like football. But I am getting into rugby as my youngest son is getting good at it. I recently ran the great north run - for the National Autistic Society - my eldest son is mildly autistic. I am a visiting lecturer at a business school.
Its something I'm interested in and already do mentoring at work
Mandela said 'it takes a village to raise a child'. My sons don't live with me and they are starting to benefit from other men (my ex wifes cousins, uncles etc). Its made me think I could do the same for others - kind of giving back.
