Self description

Male , 37

I was born in South Africa and educated there. A BAdegree drop-out, i have been living in England for seven years. I like reading and research and i am currently working for one of the top UK construction company. Am very passionate about sharing my advises with the world based on real experiences. With a chance to share these experiences, the world avoids alot of ill-informed tradegies and therefore everyone would find it really interesting to welcome the next day.

Life experiences

health

healthy lifestyles play a major role in our life. i did not believe this until i survived a chest infection due to too much smoking.Always listen to the next person for they know a thing or two about life. Not underating all the people who gave me advice helped me in knowing that each and every one of us has a magnificent role to play in making the world more adorable. There are a lot of issues we don't know about our own bodies and it is this drive that keeps me keen to share how conforming to strict exercise and diet programmes really helps in overcoming these stambling blocks.Commitment and dedication also played such a huge role and it is part of what brings success in many aspects of life. Remember, a healthy life means a healthy world and therefore less of other mental problems that would invade our happy living as a people. As soon as i discovered progress in my sickness, i opened my ears to anyone because i had come to know that life is not a one-man league.

wellbeing

personal experience and research can help me help others in this respect. My personal experinces have enlightened me in all respects of peer pressure and self-induced pressure and this has made me realise that in as much as i would kick myself for not being up there with the rest of my friends or workmates, there are things i could change and those i could not.In my own discovery, that is a crucial part of self-realisation. Alot of us loose happiness, good health and jeorpadise their comfort because of believing that they have under-achieved. Let me tell u that there is a lot in the world to explore and never insult your personality by being too comparative. You are your own persona and don't try and borrow someone's philosophy because it can only bring a lot of misery in your life. This will be like using someone's brains for duties you personally have passion for.Learn to like your personality and develop it without the risk of overconfidence and setting sky-high goals unneccessarily

relationships

this aspect of life relates to what i have overcome in terms of complications created by heavy personal debt , different beliefs, loyality problems within my own relationship and eventually how i overcame all these situations.A lot of relationships fall apart not because participant can not solve puzzles but because of simple things that can be overcome. My ego would not let me loose in any argument but through listening to a lot of programmes on tv about relationships, i realised that no matter how many times you won't let your partner win, that does not solve anything but it makes you distant and the concept of building the relationship is defeated.Just like at work, the key to a successfull relationship is the two players involved to put their all and work for the union, always be prepared for dialogue, always be prepared to listen for nothing beats an attentive ear. I have learnt that contrary to popular belief, love grows and loving someone is a learning process.Be part of it.

I am very lucky to have found your website. Recently I wrote about a problem which I face very often.... There were 10 responses from 10 mentors. They have really explained to me and made me understand that I do not have any problem. Your services are wonderful and I am very much thankful to all of you.

I have been mentoring on HM for 18 months. I really enjoy it & hopefully I am helping other people. Recently I posted my my first 'request for a mentor'. I have been completely bowled over by the response. So many people taking their time & making the effort to offer constructive advice in a friendly polite manner. For me it completely validates the intent behind HM. It reminds me how many good, helpful people there are out there. Thanks for providing such a great service.
'I called out for mentor assistance a week or so ago.

I have been inundated with unbelievably helpful replies, and now have a toolkit to draw on to start turning around behaviours and mind-sets that have been detrimental in my life.

I just want to thank Horsesmouth and all the amazing people who reached out to me.  Each and every one of you has given me something to think about, and some have given me heaps of material with which to start working.  Now I need to do the work! Thank you so much!'
